Chocolatissimo

Today Winter's chocolates came to our school to show the children the new flavors of chocolates and choco punch.

It was very funny, look at the pictures!

Nouns

Nouns are naming words.

Some nouns name PEOPLE.

Some nouns name ANIMALS.

Some nouns name THINGS.

Some nouns name PLACES.

Some nouns name one. Some nouns name more than one. An "s" means more than one.

Let's practice the classification of nouns!

Drama

Here are the Bear Cubs in their Drama class!

Miss Aida is working the concept of fast and slow with them . Also they are playing with the concept of heavy and light.

Let's watch our Bear Cubs having fun!

Plant Parts

1) Flower: In the flowers, seeds and fruits are formed.

2) Leaves: They have many shapes and sizes. They make food for the plant.

3) Stem: They can be short or tall. They carry food from the leaves to other parts of the plant.

4) Roots: They grow down into the soil. They hold the plant and bring water from the soil.

The Life Cycle of a Plant

Here is the Lyfe Cycle of a Plant:

1) First, most plants grow from seeds.
2) Then, seeds grow into young plants called seedlings.
3) Next, the seedlings grow into adult plants. Adult plants make new seeds.
4) Finally, the adult plant dies.

What happen to the new seeds?

Healthy Food

Scientists have put foods into six groups: Bread an cereal, Vegetables, Fruits. Meat and bean, Fat and sweets and Milk. We should eat from each group every day because each one helps our body in different ways.

The Bear Cubs know that. That's why they wanted to make their own meal for their families. They plan a lunch using their food pyramid.

This work was very interesting because now they have learned how they should eat to be healthy. Let's see our healthy food!
