Study Visit to Callao

All grade 1 visited the submarine in Callao. It was very interesting to be inside a real submarine. We learn how does it work and how do people feel inside it.

The submarine is a mean of transportation that take us from one place to another. The difference between the other means of transportations is that we travel here UNDER THE SEA.

Our Bear Cubs playing football. Boys VS Boys and Girls VS Girls! It was very funny!


Adjectives

Adejctives tell us:

- How things look - BIG, ROUND, GREEN, TWO.


- How things taste - SALTY, SOUR, SWEET, FISHING.

- How things smell - BURNT, FISHING.

- How things sound - LOUD, QUITE, STRONG, DRY.

After a lot of practice our children work alone using adjectives. Let's look at the pictures!

HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY!

All Junior School went to the cinema!!

Nuestros niños se merecían un descanso una celebración ESPECIAL. Con ellos nos fuimos a celebrar el día del niño en el cine. Vimos la película: "Como Perros y Gatos 2". Fue una película entretenida y con un gran mensaje de amistad y tolerancia.

Fue un día muy bonito. Cada niño recibió un combo que los dejó satisfechos.

Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs are animals that lived millions of years ago. No person has ever seen a dinosaur.


But people have found dinosaur fossils. Fossils are parts and imprints of a plant or an animal that lived long ago. Some fossils are bones, teeth and footprints that have turned into rocks. Scientist study the fossils to learn about dinosaurs.

Fossils give clues about the lengths, the weight, the teeth and age of dinosaurs.

Rocks

A rock is a hard, non-living thing that comes from the Earth. They are made of minerals. They can be different shapes and sizes. People use rocks to build houses and walls. They are very important for us.

At Science class we made rock art as people did long ago. Look at the pictures!

Second Study Visit

On June 25th all grade 1 students went to visit the "Museo de Historia Natural".

It was an amazing trip because we could observe our favourite animals: The Dinosaurs. Just imagine that we could see a giant triceraptor and a velociraptor. The bones were like in the real life!
We also observed the flora and fauna of the three regions of our country: Coast, Highland and Jungle.

We stayed there 2 hours having fun with the stories and looking at interesting mammals, primates, reptiles, birds, fossils, fish and minerals. We were surprised because of the fossils and the amazing balloon-fish!

It was an amazing visit! Let's take a look at this photos!
