Spring festivals are a great way for kids to get outside for a day, let loose some energy and celebrate the arrival of spring and summer.
The Bear Cubs enjoyed a week of competitions. They had the Spelling Bee Contest, The Poster Competition and the Song Competition. Let's watch some pictures of these week.
A study visit to the Planetarium was organized as the
students are studying the topic Our SOLAR SYSTEM. This was an informative
experience for the students as they could observe and listen to the interesting
facts about space, astronomers, telescopes and solar system. A detailed
description of each planets, surface, atmosphere, rotation, revolution, duration
of days and nights were shown. The children also learned about stars and the
constellations formed by them in the night sky.

Print the template and
cut out the pieces. Trace the sunglasses onto black construction paper and
cut them out. Trace the triangle pieces onto yellow and orange
construction paper and cut them out. You will need 11-12 triangle pieces
to create your sun.
Turn the paper plate
over and glue the triangle pieces onto the edge of the plate.
Turn the paper plate
right side up and paint the plate yellow.
·Glue
the sunglasses onto the paper plate and paint a smile on the sun with black paint.
