Today more than ever the arts are needed by our young people as a forum for safe expression, communication, exploration, imagination, and cultural and historical understanding.
Art plays an important role in almost all aspects of education, from creativity to interpretation to discussion to understanding design.
Let's take a look at the Bear Cubs in their Art Clsses!
* Children require guidance and sympathy far more than instruction. * You can learn many things from children. * A characteristic of the normal child is he doesn't act that way very often. * A child can ask questions that a wise man cannot answer. * Children need love, especially when they do not deserve it. * The world is as many times new as there are children in our lives.
* Children make you want to start life over. * Children are the keys of paradise.
Children recognized different living and non living things at school. They explored some characteristics of Living Things: 1) Living Things eat. 2) Living Things grow and change. 3) Living Things move. 4) Living Things reproduce. They also observed some interesting videos about this.
I
hope you enjoyed your holidays! Now
it is time to learn more about the Robinson Family. This term we will read and write different things about our stories. Enjoy
the Third Term!
First Grade students visited Divercity on June 18th and 19th. It was an awesome study visit to enjoy some time together. Divercity is a mini kids city where children are able to learn about the community helpers in our country, how it is to have job, make money, spend money, and learn about different companies. There were over 30 different activities to do such as working in a farm, the grocery store, the theater, flying an airplane, driving a car, being a doctor, and the list just keep going on! It was a great experience for the students to be independent citizens!
